Garden Salads

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 a lettuce
  • 2 medium size tomatoes
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 whole cucumber
  • 1/2 lemon (juice)
  • 1/4 cup oil (preferably a mild-flavoured oil)

Method:

Wash and roughly slice lettuce leaves. Chop tomatoes into bite size pieces. Dice onion finely. Grate carrot. Slice cucumber into thin pieces.
Place shredded lettuce in a salad bowl and top with tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and carrot.
Pour oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper (to taste) in a container. Put the lid on the container and shake.
Toss salad with dressing and serve.
